Welcome
I’m Teresa Chan, a registered counsellor (MBACP) offering integrative psychotherapy for adults, adolescents, and older adults. My approach is thoughtful, gentle, and grounded, supporting clients to better understand their inner experiences, address unhelpful patterns, and move toward meaningful change, growth, and self-acceptance.
Therapy can be a space to speak openly and get things off your chest, especially when thoughts and emotions feel overwhelming or difficult to organise. It offers time to slow down, reflect, and make sense of patterns shaped by past and present experiences. Through this process, therapy can support meaningful change — helping you develop healthier ways of coping, reduce unhelpful habits, and respond to life with greater clarity, balance, and self-compassion.

My Philosophy
believe that psychological distress is a meaningful response to life experiences, and that every person has the capacity for healing and growth when offered the right conditions. Therapy is not about fixing what is “wrong,” but about creating a safe, thoughtful space to build understanding, resilience, and self-compassion.
I work integratively and collaboratively, supporting individuals from adolescence through later life with anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, cultural transitions, and loss.
Having lived and worked in both Hong Kong and the UK, I bring an understanding of the emotional complexity of living between cultures, and the quiet resilience often required to navigate identity, belonging, and change.
